The moon is bright, shadows begin to mold

Its in the dark no light where nightmares are told

A curdling growl pierces the night,

As the air grows thick with sounds of fright.

A vicious bite protrudes through my throat

A huge wolf runs away as I fall to the floor

Pain erupts in searing waves,

Bones crack like thunder, my body's enslaved,

Then my flesh rips apart like a horrific ballet,

Tonight is the night the beast has came

A gaze of the stars, my heart's left unwhole

Then these claws and fangs take over my soul

I think of my love so I try my best to fight,

But a darkened force has me tonight.

Caught in some curse, a nightmare at best
