Stuck

Mistakes happen and distance is made out of games played with the enemy. You let him in and it begins to take a toll on your soul squeezing the heart and not letting go blocking the flow of life. Dark times blot out the light forgetting how to fight, isolation and hesitation take over feeling hate making you blind. Loneliness reveals brokenness that much I know making way for seeds being sewn , waiting for the rain and nothing but pain being grown.

Seeking perfection only brings negative reflection of a man I tried to be. All I want is to be free of the demons that have their way with me. Eventually lies told unfold leaving you explaining feeling the restraining grips of damage done. Picking up shattered pieces only releases what's hidden on the inside, forcing removal of the disguise being worn, that's what it takes to be reborn. Proverbs twenty six eleven says as a dog returns to its vomit so fools repeat their folly, I can't do this alone so I'm giving him all of me.
