Who is this Conqueror?
Where did he come from?
What does he carry upon the waves of time?
Warn the women from the ocean to the rivers…
Warn the bodies of lands —
A man is coming.
The Conqueror of lands and waters…
He’s coming for the stranded ones —
The lost souls who fell from the ships of pleasure
into the depths of her waters.
(Thunder rolls — choir hums softly)
Verse 1 — The Fall
They sailed across wild waters,
drinking from the cup of their own desires.
Laughter filled the night —
until the waves rose high,
and the ships sank deep.
The passengers went overboard —
into the arms of the ocean Herself.
She whispered to them:
“I’ll give you new pleasure,
but you’ll never reach the land again.”
(Background chant: “Never reach the land again…”)
Hook — The Ocean’s Cry
Ohhh — the sea remembers every name.
Ohhh — the Conqueror’s flame remains.
From the waves he rides, through thunder skies —
To rescue those lost in the tide.
(Choir echoes: “Lost in the tide… Lost in the tide…”)
Verse 2 — The Captives of the Land
Those who made it to shore
became slaves to the land that caught them.
They worked for the natives,
who wore their gold and spoke their pain.
The rich became poor,
the pride became low,
and the sea watched them
cry out year after year —
for the Conqueror to come.
(Soft drums rise — distant horn of a ship in fog)
Bridge — The Arrival
And then — he came.
The wind broke silently,
the sea split in two.
Lightning marked his steps,
and the earth trembled under the truth.
He was the destroyer
of all that was not righteous.
He came to retrieve the weak,
to return the lost treasures of the sea.
(Choir builds — “He’s come! He’s come! The Conqueror!”)
Hook — Redemption
Ohhh — the sea remembers every name.
Ohhh — the Conqueror breaks the chains.
He rides through water, walks on land,
to lift the fallen by his hand.
(Choir: “Rise again, rise again…”)
Verse 3 — The Reckoning
The body of land once rich and proud
fell into silence and dust.
Her beauty faded, her gold turned rust.
No longer did she rule over the captives —
for the Conqueror had taken back
what was his.
The natives watched in awe
as the light left their skies.
(Sound: waves calm, seagulls return, faint harp)
Outro — The Prophecy (Spoken)
And Mike White Cloud Walker said:
Just because something looks beautiful
and smells enticing —
doesn’t mean it won’t strip you bare
and leave you like rags beneath the bridge.
But even then —
you will rise again,
because the Conqueror is within you.
(Choir fades out humming “Within you… Within you…”)
