The Destination of Isolation

I sailed to my island

Vacant, desolate, a perfect paradise

I lost the bet but rolled the dice

Now I’m on the run, I’m on the run

So many months have passed

The water lost contrast

I arrived beaten and withered

I gave her all I could give her

I thought this place would be paradise

But these plants don’t look too nice

I never thought I’d have to sacrifice

Everything that I’ve built in my life

I tried on this new mask

To hide what I’m feeling inside

They mistake hatred for my pride

Chameleon I camouflage

My smile is just a mirage

I loose myself when I seek it
