Your will be done

Do you ever think about eternity?
Do you ever wonder why you’re here
You have been created for a purpose long before 
And long ago. And every day you feel the answer grow.
Why am I here, what is my purpose, and where will I go 
When I no longer have breath in my lungs 
If I’m created to live my life for you then God your will be done. 
God your will be done .. 
Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory 
Forever and ever and ever and ever Amen 
I will trust, I will try to always put you first in life 
Nothing else matters if you aren’t there 
Guiding my path and correcting my way
In truth I’ll always say 
God your will be done 
Not mine but yours be done.
What a friend we have in Jesus 
All our thoughts and grief too bare
What a privilege to carry 
Everything to God in prayer 
So ill cherish the old rugged cross 
Till my trophies at last I lay down 
I will cling to the old rugged cross 
And exchange it one day for a crown 
You’ve been faithful all my life 
And in you I will abide 
Abide in my thoughts abide in my prayers 
You are always right there 
And God your will be done 
Not mine but yours be done 
Your so good, your truth and light 
And I will love you all my life 
And pray your will be done
