Hold my breath in open water [pause]

Traded my time for pain again [Pause

I'm sinking fast and drifting farther [pause]

This shallow breathing I'm taking in [pause]

A wayward son who lost a daughter [Pause]

I sold my soul no room to barter [pause]

I walk the road of sleet and snow [pause]

a broken home and broken soul [pause]

silent nights and rabbit holes all I hear is dial tones [pause]

still all alone this broken poem [ pause ]

These no answers that I can find [pause]

 amongst the trees and fallen leaves it leads to deeper catacombs [pause]

I can't remind myself of a different time [pause]
