The storm is near

Stay awake, the storm is near,
Armageddon’s cries we hear.
We bear Jehovah’s name with pride,
In truth and faith we will abide.

Though nations rage and kings conspire,
Their hearts consumed with wrath and fire,
Jehovah's servants stand secure,
His shield forever will endure.

The heavens shake, the trumpets sound,
The Son of God in might is crowned.
From east to west, the earth will see,
Jehovah’s justice—victory!


When darkness falls and fears abound,
His loyal ones will still be found,
With steadfast hearts and humble eyes,
We trust the Lord, all-wise, all-wise.

The wicked boast, their strength is vain,
Their power soon will fade in pain,
For Christ will ride, his sword aflame,
To clear the earth of sin and shame.
