Hey kids, gather around, it’s that time of year

Grab your baskets, the Easter Bunny’s been here

Shhh… listen close… the hunt begins now

Woke up early, sun shining bright

Springtime colors, everything feels right

Tiptoe downstairs, what do I see

A trail of eggs calling out to me

Little blue egg by the kitchen chair

Yellow one hiding by the teddy bear

Laughing as I find them, one, two, three

But I know there’s more waiting just for me

Look high, look low, don’t miss a spot

Check every corner, give it all you got

Behind the couch, under the tree

Where could that golden egg be

Run real fast, or sneak real slow

Outside now, in the grassy yard

This hunt is fun, but it’s kinda hard

Pink egg shining by a flower bed

Green one peeking where the dog once led

Hear a whisper in the breeze go whoosh

Check near the bushes, quiet, shush

There it is with a golden glow

The special egg we’ve been searching for

Clap your hands, you found the prize

Big surprise right before your eyes

Candy, joy, and a note inside

Great job, kid, you found the guide
