Walking the narrow path ain't easy

World throws shade but it won't freeze me

I'm armored up with the Word as my shield

I stand but don't yield in the battlefield

Temptations whisper like snakes in the grass

But I see through the lies they try to pass

Every scar’s a story of battles I've won

Not by my strength but the power of the Son

Chains are broken hear the sound

Grace lifts me up when I'm feeling down

Late nights streetlights prayers in the dark

Hope ignites like a flame I'm a spark

Not chasing riches not chasing fame

My rewards eternal not a worldly claim

Enemies try to knock me off my course

But I'm steady got a heavenly source

Every verse I spit is a light in the storm

Transforming hearts breaking the norm

Through the fire through the pain

He took my sins he broke my chains
