From days of wonder

To hearts pulled asunder

Nights of deep passion

No longer in fashion

We walk we run we see

Its all about you and me

2016 things went to hell

Hope and dreams and hearts fell

We didn't look for pity

Just turned our backs and hit the city

Always you I longed to please

Life and suffering brought us to our knees

Now we grow old hair grows gray

We're more cautious of what we say

The pain and wounds are very real

But that has no sway on how I feel
