In this giant universal massiveness..

We stare each night

Into the dark behind the stars

Where only silence exists

And I get swallowed into the abyss

A Childs mind

Doesnt know how to find

Their way out from a nightmare

It really Boils up their fear

Grew up brain says

As you shake and sweat so erratic

That dread

You had when you looked under the bed

Draws your eyes up to the sky,

You should be scared of the void,

Fear filters out the weak

The strong gain direction

Don’t flinch, dont speak

Access adrenaline-fueled perception

As kids we feared

The boogeyman in our rooms

Then we grew up, & dared

To look up & now we see how vast

The black shadow surrounding us in dark

It's the real threat!

Born from dark into light

I make peace

with my inner beast

Stars are just a lure

They draw in the blind

Walking through death to feel the flame,

Pain is a prophet, whisperin’ names.

Taught to lay with shadows to cope,

Looks like peace ITS NOT .... Its only false hope!

Grew through the weeds of selfishness believed I was nothing but worthless

evolved through all that pain,

Stars are the beauty in the vast

Darkness all around

Endless doors of life of freedom

But then I made peace
