Wilderness Journey

Oh, there's a story from the desert,

A tale of faith and feet so bare,

With fire and clouds as the guide,

We wander forth, through the great divide.

In the land where the pharaohs reign,

Under heavy hearts and endless pain,

A voice was heard, a promise true,

Said, "I'll lead you out, to a land anew."

With bitter tears and chains of gold,

We marched together, brave and bold,

Through the night, we kept our place,

With heaven’s light, we found our grace.

Oh, we are walking through the wilderness,

To the land of milk and honey, the promised rest,

With every step, our spirits rise,

In the face of trials, we see the skies.

From the Nile's shores to the mountain high,

Manna falling from the starlit sky,

Each day we trust, with hearts so free,

For in this journey, He’s guiding me.

Oh, the waters parted, we crossed the sea,

With faith as our armor, we found the key,

Through forty years, we tell the tale,

Of love and mercy and never fail.

Oh, we are walking through the wilderness,

To the land of milk and honey, the promised rest,

And when we finally reach that shore,

We’ll sing the songs of freedom’s score,
