Victory and Healing

As I reminisce, I raise a clinched fist in victory. You stopped my history from killing me. Dying to live, a new life to love I had to let it go so your spirit would flow. Smiling at the angels that rescued me, pulling me from the pit of misery. New roots have grown and I've been shown the pathway to peace. I've climbed those mountains, one's from my past. All I did was ask, knocking on the door of freedom in the kingdom in the sky.

Victory and healing Jesus gave to me, he took all the blame extinguishing the flame putting the purpose behind his pain.

I've been given glimpses of future one that's everlasting, seen visions from my past the ones that didn't last. Discerning came from learning so I kept relying and trying to change the stains of a lost life. Had to step away from the world today, listening to the Lord say you've got a new assignment in alignment with my path. Listen to your soul and follow your heart. Let the spirit guide and the scales will fall from the eyes. Pick up your cross and the old will die.
