In the beginning he was the word

This is a message you may not have heard

Walk in the light no need for disguise

Truth in the heart tears away the lies

Don't claim the ways of dark deceit

Walk in love make your joy complete

Sin may call but his truth's revealed

By his blood our fates are sealed

Let's not love in mere word or talk

But in action as we choose to walk

Faith in motion gives life its worth

A love divine brings heaven to earth

Perfect love will cast out fear

God is love and he's always near

Born of him we keep his way

Light in our hearts shines brighter each day

We love because he first loved us

It's his spirit in whom we trust

From the darkness we're reborn we rise

With love as the beacon lighting our skies

Yo step into the light or dwell in the shade

The word is eternal it never will fade

Brothers and sisters let love be your creed

In this broken world love is what we need

Walk in the truth don't stumble in the dark

Test every spirit see what's divine

The love of the father is the love that aligns

Don't talk about love if your actions are hollow

Loving our neighbor is the choice we make

Abide in the vine let your roots grow deep

If God is in you then love overflows
