Ezekiel 2

In the valley so dry no life to be found

Bones scattered like whispers on dusty ground

I asked the wind do you know their names

It howled back silence just ghosts in chains

Prophets spoke but the people were stone

Hearts of ash where the fire once shone

Can these bones liv I heard it said

A voice like thunder woke the dead

Speak to the bones let breath ignite

From darkness comes a blinding light

Sinews stretch where the narrow grows

Blood runs warm where the cold wind blows

A vision painted on a prophet's dream

Of dry bones dancing in a living stream

The voice said prophesy speak the word

Let the dead rise up let the truth be heard

Hope ain't buried it's waiting below

Underneath the dust where the Spirit flows

Rise up rise up from the dirt and decay

The spark of hope turns the night into day

Oh rise up rise up hear the Spirit call

Even in the valley there's life for us all

Flames spin in circles they burn through the air

Wheels on wheels with eyes everywhere

A voice like thunder it shatters the sky

You see the glow you can't deny

The ground shakes but it ain't an earthquake

It's glory breaking chains that fake

A whirlwind whispers can you even hear

Or are you frozen from the fear

Valley of bones now flesh and breath

Life from death you can't second guess

Prophesy it's more than words

It's storms and visions you've never heard

Hands lift you up wings spread wide

Chariots blaze no place to hide

The light blinds yet it shows the way

Who can stand on judgment day

A river runs deep a current unseen

The holy flows where man has been

Wheels of fire rolling strong

God's power hits like a thousand songs

Overwhelmed can't stand too long

Feel the weight but know you belong

Ezekiel

Dry bones rattling in the dust

Echoes of a world that forgot to trust

Deserts stretch where rivers ran

But there's a whisper a greater plan

The winds they howl the skies they crack

A prophet speaks no turning back

Can these bones liv the question flies

A spark of life where death resides

A heart of stone turns flesh again

Rain falls down where drought has been

The promise stands unbroken thread

From ashes rise no tears to shed

The wheel within the wheel still turns

A fire inside that forever burns

Eyes like flames a vision clear

The dawn is breaking the end of fear

Can you see it can you feel

The pulse of a world made real

Hope reborn where sorrow dies

Breathe on me oh winds of change

Fill my lungs rearrange

Valley of hope rise from the dirt

New beginning no more hurt
