Chains of Darkness

In the cold heart of Kansas,

The shadows creep in tight,

Chains of the past they bind me,

In the stillness of the night.

Tuesday hit like a thunder,

The weight feels like a stone,

The darkness looms around me,

I see her face in the photos,
