Cycle of Shadows

Caught in the cycle, spinning around

Trying to break free, but I’m bound

Lost in the shadows of my own past

Living so fast, hoping it lasts

Every step closer to the edge, I take

Fighting my demons, but they won't break

Rehab's a break, but the old scars remain

Back to the darkness, wrapped in my pain

Can’t seem to find the way out, I try

Falling again, I don't wanna die

But the noise in my mind is loud

Feeding my fears, lost in the crowd

How do I keep going? I can't find the stop

Running from myself, I'm about to drop

Living in cycles I can't escape

Drowning in the choices I don't remake

Promises made, just to break

Searching for a light in the fog I fake

Every relapse feels the same
