Justice at the Cross

Oh, I’ve been down that crooked road,

Foolish lies and heavy loads.

But there's a voice that calls my name,

Speaks of justice, steals the shame.

They stole my life with their endless lies,

Built their castles up in disguise.

Booking their sins to hell's domain,

Without a clue, they play their game.

But Jesus sees and keeps the receipts,

Knows every secret that they keep.

Repent now, before it’s too late,

He holds your number, sealing your fate.

Oh Lord, justice is a burning flame,

Fools keep running, playing the game.

Forgive their trespasses, show some grace,

Before they meet their final face.

Dollar signs and wasted years,

Unforgiving, filled with fears.

But mercy's waiting at the door,

Repent today, don’t wait no more.

They run but can't escape the truth,

God's justice is no passing sleuth.

Fools, turn around, seek His light,

And find salvation in the night.
