Just a day in the life, watching it flow

Left work behind, just me and my pride

Spent some time with my dad, riding through the countryside

Stopped for some wood, sweet ice cream treat

Back home with momma, helping her with her clothes

One rack done, but I gotta wait

Another day, gotta save some strength

Feeling kinda low, stomach’s acting up

Medications and cereal, just can’t get enough

Laying with my boys, in a quiet space

Finding peace in this slow, gentle pace

Simple days, simple ways

Cherished moments, in these lazy days

Nothing fancy, just me and my kin

Winning small battles, letting life in

Sun goes down, shadows grow long

Family’s here, and I feel so strong

Tomorrow’s what’s next, but for tonight
