Rising from the Ashes

Through the shadows, I have walked,

In the silence, I have fought,

Every scar that tells a story,

In the darkness, I found my glory.

Three times the shadows whispered low,

Thought I’d forgotten how to glow,

But through the fire, I forged my soul,

Found my strength, now I'm whole.

Every tear that fell was a seed,

Bloomin’ courage from my need,

With the chains behind me, I stand tall,

The echoes of my past can’t make me fall.

I’m a survivor, hear my roar,

Through the valleys, I’ve walked before,

From hell and fire, I’ve risen strong,

With true love beside me, I’ll carry on.

Twenty years lost in the haze,

But love’s light brought brighter days,

You welcomed me, arms open wide,

In our strength, there’s nothing to hide.

Every scar, a badge of pride,

In this journey, you’re by my side,

I’m relearning the world anew,

With each heartbeat, I’m born into you.
