It’s nerve-wracking,

Mind-attacking,

Always confusing,

Sometimes bruising—

this feeling for you I keep refusing.

I’m curious, shy, and spinning inside,

Why you of all, when I tried to hide?

Out of the crowd, it’s you I see,

Just one glance, and you undo me.

I thought it was nothing, just passing by,

A fleeting crush, a harmless high.

But now it grows, I lose control—

You’ve slowly taken my heart whole.

I don't want hope, yet crave your face.

I fear the pain, yet seek your trace.

I don’t know what’s wrong or right,

But you’re the thought I hold at night.

Though this love may feel unwise,

And tears may fall behind these eyes—

If you’re the cause of all this ache,

Then it's a risk I'm fine to take.
