God of the New World

I found a book that fell from the sky,

A power no one should define,

Names written fade into dust,

Justice born out of my trust.

The world was rotten, full of lies,

I swore I’d be the one to purify,

Every page, another sin erased,

Every death, another truth replaced.

But every god must pay the price,

When heaven looks away tonight…

Writing the fate of the weak and the strong,

Every name I write, I feel the fall,
