Falling short

Feelings fall short within these walls, I never imagine to see such flaws. I always thought that this can be to the distance as my eyes can see. But here we are again and again seems like we were never destined to begin. I think we toke it way too far and we both know this everyday in the car. That we were not supposed to be together especially not forever. But we continue to act like normal and always being so formal. Not even a touch you can give so my fire can burn as it did. Instead you give me nothing to hang on to so I can try and follow through. I tried and tried but your mind is broken perhaps inserted by a demon token to never reopen. So here I am now fighting my own demons to keep myself from being damned. So I’m losing it over and over in silence waiting to go from here because I know you will never be near.
