Heart open.

No mask. No front.

Just confession.

I been runnin’, I been hidin’,

Smilin’ wide while I’m dyin’.

Postin’ wins but I’m lyin’,

Tellin’ folks I’m fine, I’m fine…

But inside, I’m breakin’ slow,

Buried pain that I don’t show.

Talk to You but keep it low —

Like You ain’t already know.

All these habits I don’t name,

Patterns passed down with the shame.

Prayin’ just to feel again,

But numbness always wins the game.

I need more than just a Sunday,

I need fire in my Monday.

I need healing for the scars

And a Savior in my dark place.

Grace was foreign, I ain’t deserve it.

Now I’m learning — You ain’t nervous

‘Bout my mess or if I’m perfect.

You just want the real me,

Tears, flaws, and memories.

Even when I drift away,

You chase me down so endlessly.

I remember late nights,

Lookin’ up with blurred sight.

Feelin’ like I lost the fight,

Then Your voice cut through the night:

“Child, I’ve never left your side.

Even in your lowest tide.

Bring it all, I paid the price.

Now come step into the light.”
