Philippians 2

Yo, check the mic, one two, this ain't no time to snooze,

Got a race to run, gotta lose these blues.

Obstacles in sight, yeah, they try to block my view,

But I'm locked on Christ, breakthrough is overdue.

Philippians in my soul, a fire that won't cease,

Pressing on, breaking free, finding inner peace.

Though the path is tough, and the climb is steep,

In His upward call, promises to keep.

Doubt whispers lies, trying to invade,

But faith's shield is up, no longer swayed.

Each step forward, a victory won,

In Christ's strength, 'til the course is run.

So lace up tight, let's get ready to soar,

Heaven's the aim, forevermore.

No looking back, gotta keep the pace,

In His loving arms, we find our grace.

Philippians

Chains on my wrist but my soul stays free

Locked in a cell but the truth is my key

I count it all loss what's gain to me

Gold turns to dust next to eternity

Every step I take I'm pressing ahead

Joy in the struggle feast where they see bread

The crown ain't heavy it's light on my head

Christ is the prize I've already been fed

They ask how I smile when the rain won't cease

I've learned the secret I've made my peace

Whether feast or famine abundance or least

My strength is Christ He's the missing piece

I've been abased I've abounded too

Seen the highs and lows still my hope is true

I'm pressing on there's a goal in view

To liv is Christ to die is breakthrough

Forget what's behind I'm reaching for more

Straining ahead for the prize in store

Joy beyond measure it won't fade away

Even in the night I can see the day

Riches can crumble the world can betray

But Christ is my treasure my heart will stay

Walk low like a servant in a king’s robe

Crown on the heart let the ego unload

Step back look up let the pride fall flat

Ain't no room for the selfish where the Savior sat

Carry the weight of another's pain

Love cuts deep but it heals the same

Pour it out empty then fill again

The way He lived the way we begin

Hold fast hold tight

To the word to the light stand tall in the fight

Shine out like a flame in the pitch black

No fear in the dark when He's got your back

Speak truth walk firm let the word ignite

A torch in the chaos a guide in the night

Hands open wide yeah give what you got

World's cold but your love burns hot

No fame no shame just running the race

Every step in His mercy every move by His grace

Have the mind of Christ humble and true

Serve one another in all you do

Lift up the fallen show love and grace

Reflect His light in every place
