The Twelve Called

From the shore to the streets, from nets to nations,

He called twelve hearts to change generations.

Walked with the Savior, followed the light,

Twelve chosen witnesses, faith in their sight.

Simon Peter, bold with the flame,

Spoke with fire, never stayed the same.

Andrew brought others straight to the King,

Simple obedience can change everything.

James and John, thunder in the sky,

Left their old lives when the Lord walked by.

Philip followed when Jesus said “Come,”

Bartholomew knew He was God’s own Son.

Not perfect people, but hearts that believed,

Grace wrote a story the world still reads.

Twelve were called, twelve said yes,

Changed by mercy, forever blessed.

From fear to faith, from dust to flame,

Now the whole world knows His name.

Side by side through storm and trial,

Walking with the Lamb each mile.

Twelve were called, and through it all,

Jesus still is calling all.

Matthew left riches to follow the truth,

New life given, restored his youth.

Thomas doubted but came to see,

Now his story speaks to me.

James son of Alphaeus, faithful and still,

Thaddaeus served with a yielded will.

Simon the Zealot laid down the fight,

Found true freedom in Heaven’s light.

Judas Iscariot chose his own way,

Yet God’s great purpose still made a way.

Matthias later stood in that place,

Proof that God restores by grace.

Different names, different roads,

One Messiah they came to know.

If He could use them, He can use you,

Still calling hearts to follow too.

Twelve were called, twelve said yes,
