Chains were heavy like iron on skin

Law kept shouting you'll never win

Rules stacked high a tower of weight

But faith broke through it opened the gate

Do you feel that the breath of release

Not bound by works but love brings peace

No more striving no need to prove

Grace said stay still watch me move

The old path calls whispers like a thief

But we got freedom we got belief

Why run circles chasing the law

When the cross has erased every flaw

The curse is gone no debt to pay

Stop building prisons walk away

They tell you rules will make you whole

But it's faith that heals the soul

No circumcision no holy rite

Just trust the Son step into the light

Don't turn back no don't rewind

We left the chains left em behind

Freedom's here it's ours to take

The flesh is loud but the Spirit's deep

Walking through the fire but I couldn't hear a sound

Tried to save myself but I'm flesh and bone

Law can't heal it just points to the fall

Climbing up the ladder but I hit a brick wall

The cross cut through like a sword in the night

Grace lit me up now I'm walking in the light

No works no gold no crown

Just the blood that poured down

Freedom ain't earned it's a gift you receive

Faith in the Son not in what you achieve

I was running in circles lost in the grind

But the cross hit my heart now I'm free in my mind

No man made rules can cage my soul
