This man's got a message told by the Lord

But he ran to the ship thought he could ignore

The waves took a shift thunder hit the floor

Jonah was the man but the sea just roared

Then spat back out because the Lord do care

He walked to Nineveh told them their sin

Forty days left if they don't begin

The people repented brought their hearts in

Ninevah trembled heard the warning clear

Repentance in their hearts wiped away the fear

Jonah sat mad like it wasn't fair

But grace works in ways we don't compare
