A messenger's call, who's meant to heed? Is it you, is it I, a planted seed? Advent's journey, the days that past, Preparing our hearts, may His presence last. To celebrate Christmas, so easy to do, But readying for Christ, requires us anew. Scripture reminds us, the time's unknown, His return in glory, or when we're called home. So let us be watchful, in thought and deed, To spread His message, plant the seed. For every soul, a task to embrace, To share His love, in every time and space. A messenger's heart, both yours and mine, To shine His light, let it brightly shine. Preparing the way, with love as our guide, Until that day, when we're side by side. So let our lives be a beacon bright, Guiding others towards His light. Christmas joy, a year-round gleam, Fulfilling hope, a living dream. With every step, and every breath, We share His love, defying death. Let faith resound, in all we do, The promise of Christmas, forever true. Not the world's end, but my own I fear, Yet urgency whispers, "The time is near." This earth's a journey, not our final stay, No waiting for old age, to find the way. From first knowing Jesus, 'til our final breath, We're called to follow, defying even death. For death knows no age, a truth we bear, A constant reminder, to show we care. As disciples true, we must light the flame, Lead others to Him, in His holy name. To find the meaning, of this sacred time, And celebrate Christ, in every clime.
