Tell me why

I hate how you can't tell who you can and can't trust nowadays. It makes life a little bit harder every time someone shows me I can't trust them. It makes it harder to trust anyone. But I still try to trust everyone until they show me I can't anymore. 
It's so hard to know anymore. But I try to trust everyone until I can't anymore. 
I hear all the time that life's not fair. I get that. But why do we have to make it more unfair for others. Why does anyone break someone's trust. I try to do right and try to be kind to everyone. It's not easy to do anymore.
