In living Gospel, joy we find, A peace that settles in the mind. Forgiveness, mercy, light our way, For others' needs, we strive each day. The path of Jesus, clear and true, Contentment blooms in all we do. Though "happy" moments fade and cease, And sadness lingers, robbing peace. For sickness comes, and loved ones go, Betrayal's sting, a painful blow. Yet even death, we shall not fear, For Gospel's joy is ever near. In every trial, grace we see, A deeper faith, eternally. So let us live, with hearts ablaze, And find our joy in Gospel ways. Finding joy, in every season, For faith and love, there is a reason. Though Christmas fades, its memory bright, And trees are stripped of festive light, The lines return, the season's done, Yet faith remains, our guiding sun. For we are people, strong and bold, In faith, a joy that won't grow old. Not just in fleeting, happy days, But knowing God, in all our ways. Death is not the final call, But life eternal, after all. Won by Jesus, love so deep, A promise whispered, secrets keep. The world may change, the seasons turn, But in our hearts, a flame will burn. A joy that lasts, when lights are gone, A beacon bright, from dusk till dawn. Where will you find joy this year? In every moment, hold it near. The simple things, the gifts untold, A story whispered, brave and bold. The love of family, friends so true, In all we do, and see it through.
