The world is getting darker, feel it in the air, Headlines scream of chaos, a heavy weight to bear. Broken cries echo, a symphony of pain, Violence and corruption, a never-ending rain. Perversion and deception, twisting what is right, The guiding light of nations, fading in the night. Sin, once whispered, now shouted with no shame, Freedom's mask concealing a far more wicked game. Good and evil blur, a canvas turned to gray, Truth contorted, molded, in shadows where they play. A twisted narrative, spun with skillful lies, As darkness claims the earth, reflected in our eyes. This darkness didn't come without a sign, Jesus warned of days where stars wouldn't shine. Lawlessness abounds, love growing cold and frail, As righteousness is traded for rebellion's gale. Purity for pleasure, a fleeting, empty chase, Truth for tolerance, erasing every trace. Wars erupt on continents, a fiery, bitter sting, Families torn asunder, no comfort can they bring. Children lost in shadows, identities obscured, Governments collapsing, their promises unheard. Men exalt themselves, on pedestals of pride, While entertainment glorifies the wickedness inside. Churches chase the spotlight, popularity's gleam, Forgetting holiness, lost in a waking dream. The warnings echo loudly, in every falling tear, The path we've chosen darkly, has brought the end so near. Many who walked in light now stumble in the shade, God speaks in silence, a message to be made. Before the dawn, the deepest dark descends, Before glory shines, evil transcends. The enemy knows his time is fleeting fast, Deception spreads like wildfire, shadows cast. Corruption multiplies, a venomous, quickening sting, Satan fights harder, as hope begins to sing. The darker the sky, the brighter morning star, A promise whispered, no matter how far. The world that mocked your faith, will bow in humble plea, Before the risen Jesus, for all eternity. Every lie silenced, truth breaking through the night, Every hidden thing revealed, bathed in holy light.
