Grateful for the Morning

Thank you, Lord, for another day

Your mercy's shining, guiding my way

Yesterday was tough, but I made it through

Your grace lifted me, saw me anew

Didn't know what was coming, felt so lost

But Your help was there, no matter the cost

People may boast, throw shadows of doubt

But Your voice calms, I hear You out

Respect and kindness, what I aspire

In Your love, I find my fire

Thank you, Lord, for saving me

For blessing me abundantly

You've given me strength to stay true

All I am, it’s all You

Thank you, Lord, for guiding my steps

For the love that never forgets

All I wanted was just to see

Your hand, Your grace over me

When pride tries to rise, I look to You

Remind me of what’s pure and true

No matter titles, status, or fame

It's Your love that calls my name

So I kneel down and bow my head

Thank You for every word You’ve said
