I’ll Just Be Me

Walking down this narrow road, shadows and light,

Learning how to truly shine, in my own sight.

Lost in the maze of trying to be everything,

Caught in the storm of what others might bring.

A mirror of many faces, but I’m finding my own,

Breaking the chains of doubt, I’ve always known.

Every misstep, every fall, a lesson in disguise,

Building up my strength, as I open my eyes.

I can't please everyone, so I’ll just be me,

Planting roots of gratitude, setting my spirit free.

Truth’s the lantern guiding through the night,

Growing stronger in the fire, embracing the light.

Stepping outside my comfort zone, chasing the unknown,

Facing fears that whisper, ‘You’re not alone.’

Priorities in focus, kindness in my core,

Making authentic connections, wanting more.

Every scar and lesson learned, a step toward my goal,
