Where Do I Stand?

Silent whispers in my mind, seeking truth to find

Peace in every step I take, leaving doubt behind

God’s not pleased with wandering hearts, lost in despair

He calls for confident footsteps, trusting Him who cares

Searching for His will, walking in the light

Peaceful in His plan, future shining bright

But the devil’s trick is slick, lies mixed with truth

He’s sly as rat poison, disguised as proof

Acceptable facades, still deadly inside

We must discern, stand firm, keep truth as our guide

Where do I stand? On solid ground or shifting sand?

In His Word, I’ll find my way, I need to understand

Where do I stand? Amidst the false and the true

Hold tight to the Savior, He’ll see me through

False prophets rising up, leading astray

Forsaking right paths, mind’s led astray

Like Balaam’s deceitful ways, they deceive

Making followers in their web, they weave

The dog returns, vomit’s call, the sow’s returning too

Washing doesn’t change what’s deep, the mire’s still new

Many follow perilous paths, heed the warning clear

Stand on truth, resist the lies, draw Jesus near

Where do I stand? On solid ground or shifting sand?

In His Word, I’ll find my way, I need to understand

Where do I stand? Amidst the false and the true

Hold tight to the Savior, He’ll see me through

Master the Bible, let it shape your soul

Don’t chase shadows, make His Word your goal

Truth is a lamp unto your feet, guiding daily

Stay rooted in faith, steadfast, and Holy

Where do I stand? Is my faith unwavering?

On Christ the solid rock, forever enduring

Stand firm, stand true, in His love abide

In His peace, in His truth, let your heart confide
