God brought down his only begotten son

To pay the price for what we've done

Jesus, the Son of God saved our life

And for his sacrifice, we are alive

God's love is everlasting

And we should not lean on our own understanding

Crown of Thorns placed on his head

Poor Jesus was condemned

For our baggage and sins

And so here it begins

The greatest love story ever told

Jesus rose from the dead on the third day

And yet, for all he went through, we still betray

We treat him like dirt

I just know he must be hurt

This is not what the Savior deserves

God brought down his only begotten son

To pay the price for what we've done

Jesus, the Son of God saved our life

And for his sacrifice, we are alive

God's love is everlasting

Because of Jesus, we have hope of eternal life

No one can deny

That the love of God is divine

Jesus rose from that tomb

His teaching about the kingdom of God

After all this, how could we not believe?

Who can get us to the father in heaven!!

Here on earth
