I was built like this

HVENLY(heavenly)

They bent me, cracked me, tried to dim my flame

Put weight on my spirit, still I stayed the same

Thought if they broke me I’d fall apart

Didn’t know the light only start in the dark

Pressure on pressure, I felt every bend

Smiles on my face while I’m breaking within

I held it together when I wanted to scream

Now every scar got a glow in the seam

They thought the breaking was the end of me

But that’s when the light came outta me

I was never weak, just unopened

Now watch what happens when I’m chosen

I’m a glow stick, made to be broken to shine

Had to snap in the dark just to glow this bright

Every crack in my soul turned the pain to design
