I used to hold onto things I should’ve released

Now I protect my energy, I value my peace

And that’s a shift you don’t notice overnight

It’s built through pressure and learning to get it right

No tolerance now for fake energy

I’d rather stand alone than lose integrity

And yeah I’ve had to learn that the harder way

But I needed that to become who I am
