Thirsty souls in a barren land,
Searchin' for water, grain in hand.
But the well's run dry, the fields are bare,
Hunger gnawin', a silent prayer.
Then a voice rings out, clear and strong,
"I am the bread, where you belong."
Eat of this, and you'll never crave,
A feast of love, beyond the grave.
No more famine, no more strife,
Just endless life, eternal life.
Take and taste, let your spirit soar,
The Bread of Life, forevermore.

The book of John
Empty jars, a wedding's plight,
The wine is gone, the mood ain't right.
Faces fall, whispers spread,
Embarrassment hangs overhead.
Then He speaks, with gentle hand,
"Fill them up," at His command.
Water flows, a crystal stream,
But something's changed, it's not a dream.
Rich and deep, a crimson tide,
Joy restored, where shame did hide.
Abundance pours, a love divine,
Cana's miracle, the best new wine.
The wedding at Cana
The book of John
Night's embrace, a hidden quest,
Nicodemus seeks, puts faith to the test.
"How can a man, old and gray,
Enter the womb, start a new day?"
Jesus answers, words profound,
"Born of water, spirit-bound."
The wind it blows, where it will,
A mystery deep, standing still.
Leave behind what you knew before,
Open your heart, and explore.
A second birth, a life reborn,
In God's kingdom, a brand new morn.

The book of John
Upper room, the night descends,
A King kneels down, love transcends.
Basin filled, with water clear,
He washes feet, dispelling fear.
Peter protests, "Lord, not me!"
"Unless I wash, you'll never be..."
Part of me, in this sacred space,
Humility shines, with gentle grace.
A servant's heart, a lesson taught,
Love in action, dearly bought.
Bend and serve, with spirits free,
The washing of feet, for you and me
The washing of feet
The book of John.
Dear friends, gather 'round, let words take flight,
A chapter closes, shadows kiss the light.
In unity's embrace, our hearts entwine,
Though paths may diverge, love's flame shall shine.
I go to prepare a place for you
So trust in me and what you must do
I am the way, the truth, the life
Let not your heart be filled with strife
The Spirit of Truth will guide your way
And never leave you to go astray
So love each other as I have loved you
And keep my commandments in all that you do
Though trials may come, and storms may rise,
Hold fast to faith, with unwavering eyes.
In every challenge, find strength anew,
Farewell, dear friends, my love remains with you.
