Braves Against the World

Under the endless sky, shadows start to play

Flathead Braves stand tall, against the world’s sway

Once they were the legends, beating drums in the night

Names carved in the stone, spirits burning bright

But whispers grew darker, the winds turned cold

Rest of the world watching, stories left untold

Luster Lux came shimmering, a false shining light

Dusk turns to dawn, but still they fight

Darkness fell again, shadows cast long and deep

But the Braves hold their ground, their promises to keep

Against the wind, they stand unbowed

Brave hearts beating loud beyond doubt

Let them say, let them try

The Braves will never die

Against the dark, they claim their right

Holding on through the night

Rise from the ashes, stand firm and proud

Braves against the world, shouting out loud

Luster Lux took the glow, but couldn't take their soul

Darkness may encroach, but the fire’s still whole

Every scar, every tear, a story of might

Echoes of courage in the fading light

So here they are, against the tide’s fierce swirl

Flathead Braves, dreaming of a better world

History’s shadows, but their spirits unfurled
