You say you love me, but the words feel flat,  
You pull me close, then you push me back.  
Smiles in the daylight, silence in the night,  
I’m left to wonder if this love’s even right. 
You wrap me in your arms, then you turn away,  
Tell me that you need me, but you’re gone by the day.  
Caught in this confusion, where do I stand?

We’re chasing moments, but they slip like sand,
