The law is good, I know it’s right

It’s holy, pure, it shines the light

But something in me pulls away

I fall again, I lose my way

I wanna walk within Your light

Another voice… drowns out Your voice

Deep in my soul, I know it’s You

But there’s a struggle deep inside

A part of me I just can’t hide

It’s like a force I can’t control

Trying to take over my soul

I hate the wrong I always do

But still I fall… instead of You

I love Your law with all my heart
