I used to dream in color… now I dream in static.

The world cracked slowly — wasn’t even dramatic.

Paint peeled off like dying skin,

The air tastes like metal, ash, and sin.

I talk to ghosts in my own reflection,

They tell me rot is just protection.

From caring. From breaking. From breathing too deep.

I built this ruin so I could sleep.

I tried to bloom in poisoned dirt

Fed on lies ‘til my stomach hurt

There’s no sky left — just satellite rain

And all this rust inside my brain…

Marching through fire with a severed tongue

Streetlights flicker like they’re scared to glow

Billboards scream but nobody knows

We sold the sky, we bled the land

Then wiped our hands and made a brand

You ask what broke me?

Nothing loud. Nothing sharp.

Just the slow unraveling

Of a world with no heart.
