Time to Rock

If I could turn back time, oh how it gleams,

Back to the days of hopes and dreams,

But would I change the paths I’ve roamed?

Or keep the scars, the seeds I’ve sown?

I was young and reckless, chasing all that shine,

Living for tomorrow, never caring for the signs,

Thought I’d play my cards a different way,

But every move I made led me to today.

Now I ponder over coffee cups,

Moments lost, but I don’t give up,

The man I am has weathered many storms,
