Then the Shepherd left the ninety-nine and came back for mine

I'm a new creation, old things fade away

Like Chicago winters breaking into brighter days

Child of the King, not a slave to the grind

Got a crown the enemy can't see — sealed in my mind

I am that I am — reflection of the One who Is

Every breath I breathe is proof that I am His

They can study my story, put the chapters on display

Walked through the fire, still standing in the flame

Born again at midnight, rising with the sun

Unashamed, undefeated in this race

Running on the wind of the Spirit, sealed by grace

Call Him Alpha, Omega — the Name above the same

From the South Side to glory, He forever stays the same

I walk through the valley like the shadow knows my name

Rod and staff of the Shepherd steady through the pain

I soar like an eagle catching wind again

While the world spins in circles, I ascend again

Full armor on — buckle tight for the fight

Belt of truth on my waist, got the sword in the light

Shoes of peace on the pavement, every step a prayer

Helmet locked, shield raised — devil beware

Purged my ego in the fast, left pride hungry

Stripped the flesh to the bone so the spirit runs free

Lips don't trade lies, tongue don't speak cheap

Count the cost before I talk, count blessings before sleep

Walked through the world but never signed the lease

Never called it home — I'm a citizen of peace

That's why I move different when the pressure increase

I'm not building temporary — I'm building for eternity

Bible in my hand, digital or page

Living Word still speaking through every age

All things possible for those who believe

So I keep speaking life into everything I breathe

If I'm sent to the valley, let the mission be known

Faith refined in the fire — every scar a stone

From the mess to the message, from the stain to the seal

Elohim set me free — and that's a done deal

All things working together — speak it, decree

Eyes haven't seen what He's preparing for me

Left devilish things at the foot of the cross

Counted every worldly gain and called it loss
