I wake up dead like the day before

Pills on the floor I can't ignore

My undead heart's a hollow sound

But these meds just keep spinning me around

My jaw hangs loose my bones are cracked

But the thrill of the spill keeps pulling me back

I chase the high with a funeral grin

But I can't find the door to let me back in

Dead again oh it's a loop I can't break

Pop another pill my hands still shake

Rehab's calling but I’m dragging my feet

What’s the point when death’s on repeat

They say even the undead can change their ways

But my brain’s been fried in so many shades

Therapists sigh as I shuffle and moan

Hard to heal when you’re just skin and bone

I wrote my name on a gravestone chart

The first step’s hard but I'll play the part

Every night bury me under neon light

And pray these pills give up the fight
