Softball and canon balls 
watermelon spittin and camping chair sittin 
The kids are bouncin off the walls after pool dippin and sweet tea sippin. 
From summer days to summer nights 
Catchin rays and mud pit fights. 
This week of work has been a bummer.  
But have no fear, it’s the first day of summer!
Summer!
Boats on the lake and and sneakin out late
Boys eyeing girls and ice cream swirls. 
Soakin up every minute and pushin the limits.
