I see the sky crack open wide

Angels whisper truths the dark can't hide

Evils creeping they're in my ear

I learned to walk through fire no room for fear

Chains rattle but they don't hold me

My scars are maps they tell my story

Every steps a fight every breaths a climb

The alarm already sounded it's war time

They throw the lies but I wear my shield

Faith is my sword and the soul won't yield

Dark thoughts circle vultures in the haze

Trying to pull me away but i don't play

I hear the Word it cuts through the dark so sharp

Split the lies apart let the truth restart

The ground shakes but my feet stay firm

The fire burns but I will never turn

I've seen the cost I've walked the line

This war is eternal the battle is mine

It's a battle in the shadows light versus night

Demons want to dance but I'm ready to fight

Truth in my hands armor on my chest

The serpent hisses the preacher shouts

Faiths a sword I can't live without

Breath by breath I'm digging my grave

Or maybe I'm digging a way to be saved

I hear the roar of lions but I stand unmoved

Every tactics tired every weapon's used

Your tricks are old news I got nothing to prove
