Tears on my pillow, drowning in the sorrow flow,

Can't sleep, demons tap dance in my shadow glow.

World spinning wicked, like a cyclone twist,

Lost in the whirlwind, too many exits missed.

Fight or flight, chest tight, no rest tonight,

Clocks tick loud, mocking my internal fight.

Fingers on the edge, slipping from the grip,

Heart heavy as a ship, 'flipping mind is a trip.

Tears on my pillow, no peace in sight,

Heart heavy crying all through the night.

Lost in the whirlwind, can't make it right,

No love, no light, just a fading fight.

Nightmares on replay, looping like a broken track,

Thoughts attack, sharp as blades, slicing through the black.

Trapped in a maze, no signs, no maps,

Each turn I take, just another relapse.

Mind racing, pacing, chasing shadows unseen,

Heart screams loud, caught in the in-between.

Negativity creeping, whispers in my ear,

TV static echoes, amplifying the fear.

Breath fogging mirrors, reflection doesn't care.
