The ark on the move the temple yet to rise

Man's ambition met with heavens watchful eyes

Tales of the anointed and the ones who grew cold

Rehoboam split the crown kingdom went astray

Solomon ruled wise but his heart did sway

Prophets sent with warnings some kings did heed

Others chased the gold neglecting the creed

Through exile and return their faith was in a test
